Removing upholstery stains can leave you feeling frustrated if you are not confident in how best to deal with them. When we speak with our clients about their cleaning routines, we often find that they are not clear on how best to approach stain removal. A lot of our clients say that baby wipes can get rid of everything. Others use more ‘natural’ cleaning methods. Either way, it is frequently found that both methods can leave you with a water or damp mark that is as unsightly as the original stain.
Removing Upholstery Stains – Our Four Step Process
Stage 1: All furniture is thoroughly hoovered using a water filtration hoover, and we sheet up your floor, under the furniture to make sure no splashes, or over spray is spilt.
Stage 2: We use a fabric pre spray which is applied using a sponge or brush depending on the fabric.
Stage 3: We then rinse the fabric with an upholstery tool, connected to a portable extraction machine, depending on the fabric type will dictate at which temperature we clean at.
Stage 4: Fabric is inspected, and re cleaned if needed in certain areas, then is wiped down to help withdraw moisture, and to reset any nap that certain fabrics have.

“Fitted us in at short notice despite busy schedule due to short time between exchange and completion. Did a super job, removing a number of deep stains and left the place looking so fresh. Thank you!”
